Doggerbite |
After
the relative success of the film, I wanted to expand on the ideas
and bring them to a stage. This I did with one Tony Burgess (a
fantastically funny Manc stand-up and top drawer writer for the
likes of Johnny
Vegas and Steve Coogan) in a room above the Thirsty Scholar in
Manchester. We enjoyed it. |
| The Mess |
I’ve never been
able to convince anyone to put this on. There’s a lot of
truth in this play (I was a pilot in the RAF – resigned before
my training finished), but it comes across as a bit fantastical.
I don’t think I’m finished with this yet – when
I get some time I’m gonna rewrite it. Basically, it's about
love and death in the RAF. Which rhymes. So there. |
