Link love is a great plugin, there are a few other great do follow plugins like top commenters. I would always advocate using do follow blogs as the backlinks are solid.

Those who give and share, receive more in return. Those who withhold and are stingy, end up like Scrooge! Thank you for your good intentions and openness. I believe you will receive many benefits in return.

'Link Love' sounds like what I've been looking for, I'm a man who loves to love and my website and blog love links, so this sounds as though it will make us both very happy - even though I don't fully understand it.

This is great for sites that have a loyal following that wants to contribute but I thinkj this will increase the level of comment spam as well.

One of my clients has been actively blogging on his site and the level of comment spam has tripled in the last 2 weeks. My fear is that moderating comments will become an unmanigable task and site owners will simply elect to switch off comments or choose to set them to unmoderated. Neither is beneficial to their sites, the blogosphere or the web in general.
