| This is a great little film/video
made in Chorlton for only twelve quid! It was written by a great
character called Leon Horton. Leon had seen me as Lenny in The Homecoming
at the Library Theatre in Manchester. Apparently, he saw me in a
pub on the piss with Lemn Sissay, and was too afraid to say hello.
Instead, he sat nearby with his friends and started discussing Pinter
and Beckett in a loud voice, hoping to draw my attention. It worked,
and we are now very good friends. This film went down a storm at
the Kino Film Festival, in Manchester, as well as the Berlin Kinofilm.
Leon described it as a film about murder and marigold gloves, which
pretty much sums it up. |
